Sleek Patterned Interior

I LOVE this interior. I have taken it from the book;”Manufractured: The Conspicuous Transformation of Everyday Objects”. What I particularly love is the printed floor panels; what a great way to insert pattern into everyday life…Also the YELLOW…I am having a little yellow-love phase – probably because it represents the warmth and glow of the sun – which is spectacularly absent right now!Interior

New Ashe Print

Here is a detail from one of my new print designs “Antipodean Orientalism”, or “Paradise Lost”…it has two titles! Look closely to discover the clues to the geographical location; the Sydney Harbour bridge lurks amongst other buildings, such as churches, mosques and pagoda’s. Look even closer to see the motif’s reference to pollution; steaming cooling tanks and spewing drains are included to create a gritty twist in this otherwise picturesque oriental print….Antipodean
