Working with Akira Isogawa
30 Sep 2015
In April of this year I went to Sydney to visit Akira Isogawa in his studio as part of a research trip for my PhD. I showed him my work and I asked him if he would like me to design some prints for his collections which he agreed yes! So now we are in the process of organising how it’s going to work and how we will go about the process…Very exciting!

Preparing Textile Design Swatches
05 Mar 2015
There are so many Ashe prints. They morph and change and grow. Each season new motifs are added and mixed with others. Colours change and new palettes are developed. This textile range was made with Akira Isogawa in mind as I have loved his fashion collections for many many years. I’m hoping to show these as part of a large range I am putting together to show Akira in April. Very exciting as I now have a confirmed appointment – during Mercedes Benz Fashion Week – so I will hopefully get to see his Catwalk event while I’m there in Sydney!
Ashe Feature in “Textile Visionaries” just keeps giving….
15 Feb 2015
The UK Fashion author Bradley Quinn discovered my work in 2012 and things have not been the same since. With a 6 Full Colour page feature on ASHE, plus the honour of being asked to design the cover and end papers for this Internationally distributed book, it really helped “put me on the map”. I’ve since been able to do some amazing collaborations and hopefully there are more to come! Thank you Bradley Quinn for the recognition!

Timourous Beasties is a textile/Wallpaper company i can get really excited about…Their textile designs are intriguingly detailed and often use 18th century textile genre’s such as the traditional toile de jouy to depict modern life. Closer to art than textiles – this all-male Glaswegian design duo are a really exciting company to watch…
